DDA Access Auditing

DDA ACCESS AUDITING

We offer services for many organisation types across a diversity of sectors.

The Equalities Act 2010 is a mandatory piece of legislation that will involve alterations to buildings in order to remove physical barriers to access for goods and services. The obligation falls upon service providers, and will cover all buildings to which members of the public are permitted access.

In conjunction with existing requirements of employers and service providers, access audits are undertaken in order to assist in compliance with this legislation and enable planning for full accessibility as required under the Act. The access audit will involve a site inspection and report to identify physical barriers to access, and will make recommendations for improvement where appropriate. This includes the knowledge to implement design solutions as part of a refurbishment scheme.
