Following a fire and subsequent demolition of a large leisure facility in Port Talbot, a number of outlying leisure centres were refurbished as part of an insurance settlement to continue to accommodate the existing members. The scheme entailed the refurbishment and reconfiguration of four leisure centres to facilitate the client's loss. Our work involved liaison and negotiation with insurers and loss adjustors, along with acting as lead consultant for the refurbishment works.
