HANBURY CHAPEL

Due to the closure of the existing library facility within the Town of Bargoed, the local authority proposed to adapt and renovate the nearby Baptist chapel into a new library and community facility. The chapel is a Grade 2* listed building and is recognised by CADW as one of the best examples of a building of its kind in Wales. Hurley & Davies were commissioned to undertake a detailed fabric condition survey of the building with our brief highlighting any structural issues and giving a general appraisal of its condition prior to the church's conversion.
